Gibraltar Airport is in fact closest to Estepona but Malaga Airport is the main International Airport serving the area and is just at 45 min drive. The A7 Auto via runs along the Costa del Sol and passes through Estepona. The toll road AP7 provides faster travel between Málaga and Estepona, by-passing Marbella.
